Larissa Carvalho Santos is the founder and director of Superpowers Foundation, a mission born within her own home and shaped by her journey as the mother of three neurodivergent children.
Before any title, Larissa is a mother and it is from this lived experience that her purpose was formed.
She is also a licensed physical therapist in Brazil, specialized in respiratory physiotherapy, bringing a compassionate and well-grounded clinical perspective to her work. This background became essential when her family received diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, language processing disorder, and dysgraphia.
Through years of research, structured routines, and real-life learning, Larissa discovered a deep calling: to support families who feel overwhelmed, lost, or alone.
She is the author of the children’s book “Born to Be a Champion: The Story of Ronaldo Jacaré,” created to inspire children through the true journey of her husband, who transformed challenges into strength.
Guided by faith, Larissa believes nothing happens by chance. When she looks at a neurodivergent child, she sees beyond the diagnosis she sees potential, strength, joy, and life.
Superpowers Foundation exists because of that vision:
a mission born from a mother’s love, a healthcare professional’s experience, and a purpose meant to serve families everywhere.
“Everything I learned inside my home, I want to share with other families.”
